FRIDAY NIGHT FLIGHTS take place most Friday evenings. This is a weekly tasting of interesting wines for you to sample in an informal setting. Each week we choose a different group of wines to focus on, often showcasing different styles and flavors. Join us on these festive evenings and snack on delicious cured meats, artisanal cheeses and other goodies. Tasting fee is usually $10-15, depending on wines being poured, and includes light appetizers. No reservations needed for our Friday tastings.

 

 

CLASSES & BACKROOM TASTINGS

WINE 101
6:30pm • $25/person

LEARN, DRINK, HAVE FUN! Sara will guide you and your friends on the basics of wine tasting. We start with aromas, then analyze the difference between tannin, acid and sugar, and finally taste 5 examples of different styles of wine from around the world. These classes are always informative to the beginning wine drinker and those who have never had a chance to learn the basics along the way. Class is limited to 14 people and includes some light appetizers. Class participants receive 15% off all store merchandise the night of the class.

Backroom Tastings & Classes are limited to 14 people. Reservations Required. Backroom Tastings are wine-only events. We will provide crackers to cleanse your palate, but no food. The tastings typically last about an hour, you'll have the chance to sit and compare several wines side-by-side and there are discount prices on the wines the evening of the class. Classes include light appetizers and typically last 1.5 to 2 hours.

 

 

 

 

 


DINNERS & WINEMAKER VISITS

PASTA DINNERS

Once a month, we hold a pasta dinner in our tasting room, where Darryl whips up some old favorite recipes from the Assaggio days and we pair each course with wines. These are very popular events and usually fill up from our cork club members, who have first priority for all reservation events and dinners.

For May, Andrew Rich will join us as Darryl recreates popular Assaggio pasta recipes in the cork kitchen, to be paired with Andrew's wines. Expect 5 courses and at least that many wines.
