2005 DHONDT Brut Blanc de Blanc Vieilles Vignes (Reg. $82.50)cork club prices: $70/bottle · $78 nonclub price

An
old-vine bottling of Chardonnay-based bubbly usually means more of a
straw color and a richer mouthfeel with golden raisin and some citrus
notes. This wine is all of that and more. It is also
exceptionally well balanced, the type of Champagne you could serve with
multiple courses throughout the meal and see it reveal different
elements depending on what you were drinking it with. Delicious.
2004 TRIOLET Brut Bethon Vieilles Vignes (Reg. $50)cork club prices: $42/bottle · $47 nonclub price
A
terrific value in vintage Brut, your palate first experiences a full
creamy mouthful of bubbles followed by classic notes of biscuit with a
touch of citrus and honey mixed in. Delicious as an apperitif or
with lighter fare.
2005 ULYSSE COLLIN Blanc de Blanc Extra Brut (Reg. $75)cork club prices: $62/bottle · $70 nonclub price
My
personal favorite for the unique flavor profile. Here we find
keffir lime leaf, hints of curry and an underlying lime note on the
finish, all making it blatantly obvious that this is the Champagne to
pair with your Thai curries and other Asian dishes. The bubbly
can handle the heat as well, so whether it's spicy take-out from Red
Onion (what, you haven't been yet?!) or a lovely home-cooked meal using
iintense panang seasonings and citrus, don't pass the chance to try
this lovely and unique bottling.
NV SAVES Brut Rosé Grand Cru Bouzy (Reg. $75)cork club prices: $62/bottle · $70 nonclub price
The
staff favorite amongst all of the Brut Rosé we tasted this past month
in preparation for our holiday ordering. It is extremely round,
with cherry fruit and a lot of body. Don't be fooled by the very
light color, the wine reveals itself as a heavier rosé, sure to put
smiles on your guest's faces this holiday season.
