Have a great weekend, Darryl 2007 JUSTIN Cabernet Sauvignon (Reg. $25) cork club $21.25 · nonclub price $22.50 2005 JUSTIN Savant (Reg. $45) cork club $38.25 · nonclub price $40.50 I know there is a big fan base of readers out there for Justin's wines, as we regularly feature the Isosceles and the Orphan when they are available.  This week I have two other Justin reds you might not have noticed sitting on the shelf, as they slid in during the heavy Fall restocking season.  The Cabernet Sauvignon is just that, some of the Justin estate's choice Cabernet fruit made in a single-varietal bottling and at a very good value.  The Savant, on the other hand, is like the big brother to the Orphan.  A similar blend of 44% Syrah and 56% Cabernet, it is aged like the Isosceles Bordeaux blend, with about 65% new French oak barrels in the mix.  The result is that full bodied, complex style you've come to expect from the bigger Justin wines, and it should continue to improve over the next 10 years given the intensity of this vintage.  Cabernet in good supply, Savant very limited! 2007 KUMEU RIVER Estate Chardonnay (Reg. $37.50) cork club super sale at $22.50/bottle · $30 nonclub price An elegant Meursault-style Chardonnay from the Northern part of New Zealand's North Island.  The Brajkovich family has been making wine at Kumeu River since 1944 and carry on a tradition of delivering natural winemaking, French cooperage and quality vineyard care.  The results are across the board top rate, and the Importer has recently reduced the price on the current vintage substantially from earlier this year.  Stock up now, if you enjoy a fuller Chardonnay, as this one sports cantelope mixed with a briny sea quality and mineral notes.  The type of contemplative wine to enjoy with a good book in front of a fire on a rainy day.
