with our Wine ABCs, you're probably not surprised to learn that
T is for Thanksgiving
With
the holiday fast approaching, we know you are all busy preparing the
home for a big gathering or the family for a big trip. We are
here to help with wine and beer selections and to refill your olive oil, salt and other cooking and baking needs.
We can also provide great gift ideas if someone else is doing the heavy
lifting this year. Stop in anytime between 11am and 7pm today and tomorrow - we look forward to finding the perfect pairing for your holiday meal.
Join us Friday and Saturday as we will be tasting new releases and local favorites from 12pm to 5pm both days. We'll have a mini-flight and the $5 tasting fee will be waived with a purchase of $25 or more.
If you want to show the family how we roll on Friday night, stop by the ALBERTA shop from 5pm-8pm for our 2007 VIOLA Sangiovese Release Party.
I will be pouring my own wine, along with a few other Sangiovese wines
made from Washington grapes. We'll also find out how my 2002
Alder Ridge Sangiovese compares to Longshadow's 2007 Saggi, made from
grapes grown on the same vineyard. The fun begins at 5pm, $10
tasting fee, no reservations needed.
