Discover in detail all the wonderful aspects of Burgundy by biking through vineyards and wine tasting along the way so that you can truly see what terroir is made of.

We will be visiting and tasting at some of our favorite small estates in Burgundy, and giving you the chance to get to know the winemakers personally. Explore the picturesque villages, majestic châteaux and fascinating history of the region, by biking your way through the vineyards.

Savor traditional cuisine at world-famous restaurants and explore other culinary delights we discover along the way.

5 day bike rental, with helmet included

Cherasco Multi ImagesExperience Italy's most magical wine producing region and share in Darryl's passion for Piemonte, which he will guide you through on a culinary journey through the region.

We would be happy to custom tailor a one or two day guided tour of the region with visits to winemakers from Barbaresco to Barolo, dining at some of the finest restaurants in the region, take excursions to culinary destinations like the charming chocolate town of Cherasco and the fertile pastures of the Alta Langhe, renown for world-class cheese and hazelnuts. You will witness first hand how nebbiolo, barbera and dolcetto are turned into world-class wines and have the chance to see vineyards during the peak of harvest and obtain a true appreciation and understanding for the terroir of this storied region.

Our daily itinerary will typically include 2 winery visits, with one major meal and an artisan food excursion or two thrown in. To discuss options for joining Darryl while he's in the region, please contact him directly at darryl@corkwineshop.com.

While we will finalize our visits as the tour date draws closer, you can expect to visit Produttori del Barbaresco and Cantina del Pino in the Barbaresco zone and Renato Ratti and Podere Ruggeri Corsini in the Barolo zone. A chance to learn about Moscato d'Asti production, as well as a visit to one of the top microbreweries in Italy will also be on the itinerary.
